Isabelle Huppert, the multiple winner of Best Actress awards at Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival and Venice Film Festival; Marguerite Duras, a legendary writer enjoying a global reputation for her literary works, t two extraordinary French woman of different time and space yet “meet” on stage in a special way and bringing the unique charm of French culture to the audiences- . Isabelle Huppert starred in the film Un barrage contre le Pacifique which was adapted from Duras's novel. This time she will revive- the story of L'Amant, a classic of Marguerite Durasthrough a read performance.

Isabelle Huppert, France’s national treasure, has appeared in more than 100 films and numerous productions. She earned lots of Best Actress Awards: at the Cannes Film Festival for VioletteNozière and The Piano Teacher, at the Moscow International Film Festival for Madame Bovary, at the Venice Film Festival for Une affaire de femmes and La Cérémonie for which she also had the César Award. The Venice Film Festival awarded her a Special Golden Lion Award from the Jury, for her part in Patrice Chéreau'sGabrielle, as well as for her entire career. She was Chairwoman of the Jury for the 62nd Edition of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. She has recently earned several awards for Elle: the Gotham Award, Golden Globe Award, César Award and Oscar nomination. In parallel with the cinema, Isabelle Huppert has pursued her theatrical career on all world stages. She has acted under the direction of the greatest directors : Bob Wilson, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Luc Bondy, Claude Régy.
